Customizing and Updating Document Templates

Last updated 20/03/2018

This article explains how to customize and update document templates in Cin7.

Overview

Cin7 contains a number of customizable templates for common documents including Purchase Order, Credit Note, and Packing Slip document.

You have two options when it comes to documents:

  • Configure your document template using the settings, outlined here.
  • Customize your document using the WYSIWYG editor, detailed in a separate article.

The former is faster and easier to use, while the latter affords a greater amount of control over the appearance of the documents.

To configure a document template using the settings:

  1. Log in to Cin7 as an Administrator.
  2. Hover over your username, top right, and click Settings.
  3. Under Setup, click Document Templates.
  4. Click Design next to the template you would like to edit.

Once you have made the changes, click Save to save any changes.
