Creating a Customer or Supplier

Customers and Suppliers are the people you sell to and buy from. This article explains how to create Customers and Suppliers, and provides more information on what each field represents.

Creating a Customer or Supplier

To Create a Customer or Supplier:

  1. From the Left Navigation, select the CRM module.
  2. Click on Create New Customer or Create New Supplier.
  3. Enter the details of your contact, filling out at least the required fields (marked in red).
  4. Click Save or Back to save the contact.



Why are there some fields listed below that are not in my CRM?

For simplicity, some fields are turned off by default. You can switch them on from the settings page, for more information see CRM Settings.

How do I delete a contact?

There is a separate article about this, please see Deleting Contacts.

What is an Internal contact?

There may be some contacts you need to keep in your system that don't fit into either Customer, Supplier or Branch - these should be stored as Internal contacts.
