Although it is not possible to customize your B2B site's appearance, you can configure the following static pages:
These pages contain boilerplate details by default, so you will need to add your own information before launching your site.
All pages on the B2B site are edited through the Webcentral portal.
To access the Webcentral portal:
From the Webcentral page, choose a page to edit by clicking Change.
In the following page, you will see the content of the page divided between one or a number of 'free form text' boxes. Free form text boxes are the building blocks of a page. A page can include a number of different free-form text boxes.
To change the content of a free form text box:
You can add additional free-form text boxes to a page by clicking Create New Free Form Text Box. This option will take you to the Word editor directly. Clicking on the disk icon will save your work and create a free form text box on the page.
Alternatively, you can add a template - this is a premade free form text box. There are three templates set up by default:
If you have multiple free form text boxes on a page, you can change the order of the boxes:
Each page has a number of different options. To change the options, click on Page Options at the top of the page.
Web Page Title
Changes the title of the page.
Body Sections
Each page can have a maximum of two columns. The width of each column can be changed by choosing the ratio from this drop-down.
If a second column is added, in the page we will see an additional area for adding new free-form text boxes.
Text Box Spacing
Controls the space between each free form text box on a page.
Layout, Sub Layout, Print Layout, Mobile Layout, Display Link In:
These fields are not applicable to the B2B site - so just leave them as the defaults.
Nav Bar Name
Controls the name of the page when it appears in the Nav Bar.
Nav Bar Sort Order
Controls the placement of the page in the nav bar.
Show in Header Nav
If set to Yes, will show a link to the page at the very top left of the screen in all pages.
Show in Top Nav
If set to Yes, this will show a link to the page in the Navigation bar, next to categories.
Show in Left Nav, Show in Footer Nav, Navigation Level, Hide Application Page
These fields are not applicable to the B2B site - so just leave them as the defaults.
The homepage by default consists of a wide carousel of two or more images, each image has an optimum dimension of 1000px by 430px.
To change them:
Underneath this are two rectangular images for promotional offers, their optimal size is 480px wide by 450px high.
