Setting up the Pick 'n' Pack

How to set up Pick 'n' Pack.


The Pick 'n' Pack app works in the browser, offline or online. Before you can start using it you need to do some small setup tasks. This enables the Pick 'n' Pack to work offline.

Finding your App ID and App Key

The first thing to do is find your server details and password.

  1. While logged in as an Administrator, select your username in the top right and then select Settings.
  2. From the Stock Management menu, select Pick 'n' Pack Stock Server Details.
  3. Note your App ID and App Key found at the top of the next screen.

Setting up the Pick 'n' Pack

  1. While logged into the Cin7, from the left navigation, select Stock, then select Pick 'n' Pack.
    This will open the Pick 'n' Pack in a new tab.

    Bookmarking the Pick 'n' Pack

    The link to the Pick 'n' Pack will never change, so you may wish to bookmark it. This means other users will not need to log in to Cin7 to access the Pick 'n' Pack in future.

  2. If the Pick 'n' Pack has never been set up before, you will be presented with two fields.
  3. Enter the App ID and App Key that you noted earlier.
  4. Once complete, select Save.
  5. The Pick 'n' Pack will begin syncing with your Cin7 account.

Once synced, you will be taken to the standard login screen which has two fields, for username and password.

Logging in to the Pick 'n' Pack

To log in to the Pick 'n' Pack:

  1. In the login screen, enter the first part of the email address associated with your account; (i.e., for "john@example.com", just enter "john").
  2. Enter the password for your account.
  3. Select Login or press the enter key.


Do all users of the Pick 'n' Pack have to have a user account?

Yes. Every user must have a user account, and hence an email address, to enter the Pick 'n' Pack.
