Updating Purchase Orders in Bulk

Last updated 05/10/2017

You can update multiple Purchase Orders in one go, using the Bulk Update feature. This article explains how to use it.

You can update multiple Purchase Orders at the same time, using a feature called Bulk Update.

This feature may be useful for updating all orders with the same value, for instance ETD dates. You can also use this feature to update multiple lines at the same time - this may be useful if you need to quickly enter different courier tracking codes against multiple orders in one go.

To enable this feature, you must first choose the fields you'd like to Bulk Update from the settings page. For information on how to do this see Purchase Order Settings.

Bulk Updating Fields

To bulk update fields:

  1. From the left navigation, select Purchases and then click Purchase Orders.
  2. Tick the orders that you'd like to update.
  3. Hover over the Actions button, then select Bulk Update.
  4. The screen that follows shows the orders that have been selected, plus the fields you can update.
  5. Either:
      • Enter a value in the header row (dark grey) to populate all fields below it with the same value,

    - or -

    • Enter a value against each order (light grey or white), to update the fields with different values.
  6. Click Save to apply the changes.

Can I bulk update the Fully Received date?

No - each order must be manually dispatched, by either editing the order and entering a Fully Dispatched date, or using the Auto-Dispatch feature.

I'd like to Bulk Update a field that isn't available in the settings - is this possible?

Yes, just contact the support team with the name of the field you'd like added.
