How to Export Amazon FBA Shipments

How to create a FBA Inbound Shipment in Cin7 and transfer the Shipment to FBA.

Overview


Cin7 has the ability to send either a Purchase Order or Branch Transfer to FBA in the form of an Inbound Shipment. This is used to create a Shipment Plan which will allow you to send items to Amazon's Fulfillment Network for them to use for fulfillment of your products. 

Creating Purchase Order or Branch Transfer


To create a shipment plan, you must first create either a Purchase Order or Branch Transfer:

  1. From the left navigation, select Integrations, then select your Amazon FBA module.
  2. At the top of the dashboard in the green banner, select the link.
  3. Select the Create Shipment Plan drop-down and then select either Branch Transfer to FBA or Purchase Order to FBA.
  4. Enter in the products that you want included in your shipment and ensure that your Transfer to Branch: is your Amazon FBA Warehouse Branch.

Prepare your Products and Label Settings


The next step is to choose your Prep and label settings for your Shipment

  1. Find your Shipment in the Shipment Plans & Prep Products tab and select the checkbox next to your shipment.
  2. Select the Please Select text to bring up the Settings display.
  3. Choose your Who Labels and Who Preps Settings, along with Prep Guidance, and then select Save.
  4. Review your settings and select Send Shipment Plans to create the shipment in Amazon.

Review Shipments


The next step is to Review your Shipment which will now by synced on your Amazon FBA/Seller account.

  1. Select the Review Shipments tab and find your Shipment.
    Note: Amazon may decide to split your Shipment based on Shipment size. This will be reflected in multiple Shipments in the Review Shipments tab.
  2. Select View Shipment Contents to see a summary of the Shipments products including Ship to Address.
  3. Select Approve Shipments to progress to the next stage.

Prepare Shipments & Label Products


This stage needs to be done in the Amazon Seller Portal as this functionality within Cin7 will be added in the future.

Shipping Charges


This stage needs to be done in the Amazon Seller Portal as this functionality within Cin7 will be added in the future.

Shipping Labels


This stage needs to be done in the Amazon Seller Portal as this functionality within Cin7 will be added in the future.

Shipping Summary


You can monitor the status of you Shipments in this tab

  1. Select the Shipment Summary tab and find your Shipment
  2. Refer to the Status column to check the status of your Shipment:
    WORKING: Still processing.
    SHIPPED: Shipped, and stock will be moved into your Holding Branch where it cannot be used.
    CLOSED: Shipment is completed and stock fully moved into your FBA Branch in Cin7 to use.
