Using Shopify and Zapiet for Click and Collect

This article explains how to use Shopify in combination with Zapiet to implement click and collect.

Overview


Click and collect is key part of providing an omnichannel experience for your customers.

Zapiet is an app that integrates with Shopify to add click and collect functionality to your Shopify store.

Integrating Cin7 is easy, and simply requires a few modifications to Cin7's branch routing feature.

Setting up Zapiet


Zapiet is very easy to install and use; simply add the app from the Shopify app store and follow the on-screen instructions.

Once you have set up Zapiet, you will need to find your Zapiet branch IDs:

  1. Log in to your Shopify store.
  2. From the left menu, click Apps.
  3. Click Zapiet.
  4. Click on Outlets
  5. Choose a branch, and click Edit
  6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Zapiet Outlet ID.

You will need to find the Outlet ID for each of your branches.

Setting up Cin7 Branch Routing for click and collect orders


Next, you will need to route orders to a Cin7 branch based on the Zapiet ID that is tied to orders that are placed in your store using Zapiet's click and collect function.

To do this:

  1. While logged in as an Administrator, select your username in the top right then select Settings.
  2. From the integrations tab, click your Shopify connection.
  3. Select the Settings tab.
  4. Change the Route Branch by Country and Stock: setting to Configure Branches.
  5. Enter the Zapiet Outlet ID into the External Route Codes field against the relevant branch in the routing matrix.

With these settings applied, all orders that contain this Zapiet Outlet ID will be routed to the chosen branch.
