Etsy Overview

Last updated 15/05/2019

Connect your Etsy account to Cin7 to allow seamless order processing and inventory synchronization.

Etsy "operates marketplaces where millions of people around the world connect, both online and offline, to make, sell and buy unique goods. Etsy also offers a wide range of seller services and tools that help creative entrepreneurs start, grow and manage their businesses."

Integrating Etsy with Cin7 will allow you to:

  • Download Products
  • Download Sales Orders
  • Update Etsy Order Status
  • Update Stock levels
  • Download customers

Our integration has multiple settings that allow for detailed control of how Cin7 interacts with Etsy.

Setup and Use

Setting up the integration simply involves logging into Etsy from Cin7. Please see Connecting Cin7 to Etsy.

The Settings menu will refine how the integration operates, please see Etsy Settings.

All actions for Etsy are controlled from the Dashboard - for more information see Etsy Dashboard.

Downloading Orders is a key function of the integration. Downloading Orders allows you to easily dispatch orders from within Cin7. See Downloading Orders from Etsy for more information. Their status, once dispatched can be updated back to Etsy - see Updating Etsy Order Status.

Stock levels can also be updated to Etsy. To do this, the products must exist in both Cin7 and Etsy and their codes/SKUs must precisely match in both systems. This links products in Cin7 with products in Etsy.

Once product codes are matched, stock levels can be synced easily at the press of a button. For more information see Updating Stock Levels in Etsy.

Is it possible to create products in Cin7 and push them to Etsy?

Unfortunately, this is not possible due to the way that products are stored in Etsy and Cin7.

I cannot see the Etsy module under the Integrations menu.

In some cases, after adding the app, you will need to click the Refresh button at the bottom of the left navigation menu before the module will appear.
