In order for shipping fees to calculate correctly, you must have applied a weight to each product within the order. The weight field must first be added to the product page.
To add the weight field to the product page:
Within the product page for each product, there will be a number of new fields. The Weight (KG) field should be used to determine the weight for each product.
Weights in Cin7
Weights can be applied at the product level or the product option level. This means if you have a product with a number of options, where each option has a significantly different weight, you can add a weight to each option.
The weight field specifies 'KG', however imperial measurements can be used here instead. Just make sure to change to 'pounds and ounces' in the ShipStation settings.
If you want to populate this field in bulk, you can use the product update feature to do this.
To add calculated shipping fees to an order, there are a few prerequisites:
In order for freight fees to calculate automatically, you will also need to ask your onboarder or the support team to 'switch on fee calculations' in the Sales Order module.
To add freight fees to an order:
Selecting an option will input the cost of the freight, you may wish to manually increase the fee.
