Using Multiple Tax Rates in the POS

The POS is able to use different tax rates for different branches - this article explains how.

If you sell across multiple states where taxes differ, each POS (Point of Sale) will need to have its own tax rate.

Before changing the POS, make sure the taxes have been set up correctly in the backend first.

To change the tax rate:

  1. Log in to the POS and choose your branch.
  2. Click on the orange Tax link between Discount and Total, in the top-centre of the screen.
  3. All tax rates set up for your account should be here. Choose one.
  4. The tax rate will now be correct for your region.
