I want to import COGS for previous months from Cin7 to Xero, is this possible?

The COGS value in Cin7 does not match the COGS value in my accounting system how can I import previous months COGS into Xero?

Answer

COGS values can be imported to your accounting system by clicking on the 'Import COGS' link in the Xero module.

 

By default only the current month and the previous month will appear to be imported to your accounting system. However, an administrator of your account has the ability to change the COGS settings to allow up to 7 months worth of COGS values to be imported. 

To do this:

  1. Log in to Cin7 as an Administrator.
  2. Click on your name, top right, then click Settings.
  3. From the Accounts menu, click Xero Setup.
  4. Click Default Accounts.
  5. Choose the number of previous months you'd like to import from the drop down box behind Update COGS for number of past months
  6. Click Next.
  7. Click Finish.
