Last updated 16/09/2019

This article explains how Stock Reports are calculated.

Overview

Cin7 supports integrating with a multi-currency Xero system. You can import invoices, purchase orders, sales orders, and calculate COGS in foreign currencies.

Stock On Hand and Availability

This shows the stock available based on the following formula:

Stock On Hand + Incoming - Open Sales Not Yet Dispatched.

Stock value is based on the actual landed cost of stock brought into Cin7, with allowance for exchange rate fluctuations and varying customs and freight charges.

Historic and Current Stock Valuations

This gives you an approximate idea of stock value as at a certain point in time. This report is dynamic, meaning that it will accurately reflect any stock movements or date changes at any given time. It is not a snapshot of a particular moment in time.

Stock value is based on the actual landed cost of stock brought into Cin7, with allowance for exchange rate fluctuations and varying customs and freight charges.

Current Stock Valuation Analysis

Stock value is based on the actual landed cost of stock brought into Cin7, with allowance for exchange rate fluctuations and varying customs and freight charges.

For example, if you have 50 shirts with a landed cost of $1 but the next 50 shirts had a landed cost of $1.50 then the overall stock value would be:

($1 x 50) + ($1.50 x 50)
