Managing Mailchimp Unsubscribes

How to process unsubscribes when using the Mailchimp integration.

Unsubscribes through Cin7

If a contact requests to be unsubscribed, you can process this through Cin7:

  1. From the left navigation, select Integrations, then select Mailchimp.
  2. Select List.
  3. Search for the contact using the keyword search field.
  4. Unselect the contact.
    Changes will be synced immediately.

Unsubscribes from Mailchimp

By clicking the Sync button in the Mailchimp module, contacts that have unsubscribed in Mailchimp will become unselected in the Cin7 Mailchimp integration List page.

FAQ

Can the webhook be used for automatic Unsubscribe syncing?

No, webhooks are no longer pulled into Cin7.  You must click the Sync button as described above in order to sync Unsubscribes between Mailchimp and Cin7.
