Network Printing

You can also connect the Epson TM-m30 to work via a network which is useful if your Apple Mac has no free USB ports.

Network printing also has the advantage of allowing receipts to print automatically without having to select "print" in your Web browser print dialog, allowing for a more streamlined POS experience.

You would need to consider:

  • The receipt layout cannot be modified by the Receipt Builder if using network printing.

To set this up:

  1. As an Administrator, navigate to the POS settings, set Close the print dialogue after printing to "Yes" and Save.
  2. Connect your printer to your network using a standard network (Ethernet) cable. When connecting the printer to the network, it will receive an IP; retain the IP address as you will need it later.
  3. In the POS, make a test transaction to initiate a receipt to print.
  4. In the top right of the following screen, select Configure IP Printer.
If you do not see this screen (see above), contact Cin7 Support.
  5. Enter the IP address of the printer.
  6. Select Epson (TM-T88V-i) model from the drop-down.
  7. Select Test to print a test receipt.
  8. Select Save.
